The Breakers have suffered another loss in the new Australian NBL basketball season.
They went down 99-85 to the Wollongong Hawks, across the Tasman.
A third quarter lapse cost the Breakers dearly, with the Hawks bouncing back from a 44-41 halftime deficit to lead by nine points heading into the final period.
The Breakers managed to get back to within five points with six minutes to play, but could not prevent the home side from notching up a comfortable victory.
Adrian Majstrovich was the top scorer for the Breakers in the losing effort with 19 points, while Aaron Olson added 17.
