Fuelled by Dusty Rychart's career-best 44 points, Adelaide trounced the New Zealand Breakers 122-101 in Adelaide yesterday to keep both teams at opposite ends of the Australian National Basketball League.
The last-placed Breakers kept things close up to halftime but the Sixers ultimately added to their lead in every quarter to run out comfortable winners.
Rychart flirted with Adelaide's all-time scoring record of 49 before subbing out late, his 44 points going with 13 rebounds.
Guard Aaron Olsen led the Breakers with 23 points while centre Ben Pepper also had a good afternoon with 22.
