The SkyCity Breakers remain hopeful they can secure the signature of import Cedric Jackson for another season.
Jackson was the club's MVP in their second championship year, but the point guard's returned to American to chase his NBA dream.
Breakers General Manager Richard Clarke says they've spoken with Jackson's agent this week.
"So we're just seeing where he's at and I think he's got a couple of offers from Europe at the moment as well as working through the whole NBA thing but it's certainly not out of the question that we might be able to get him back."
Clarke says they aren't looking for another import as yet, with Jackson their priority.
