The New Zealand Breakers have signed Tall Black Leon Henry, filling their roster for the upcoming Australian National Basketball league season.
Henry is not new to the Breakers having played on a short term contract while Kirk Penney was away trialling in the USA last season.
Henry's attitude and commitment during that time was reflected in him staying with the club for the entire season, contributing on the training court to push the roster towards their championship success.
Breakers general manager Richard Clarke has no doubts as to Henry's value to the club.
"He is a proven winner, picking up two NBL titles with the Saints, with our development team in China last year and more recently with the Tall Blacks at the Stankovic Cup.
