The Breakers kept their faint Australian National Basketball League playoff hopes alive on the Gold Coast last night.
They snapped a 10-match unbeaten run at home by the Blaze to win 95-81 at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.
Trailing by seven points at halftime, the Breakers rallied on the back of an impressive shooting display by American import Kevin Braswell who scored a game high 22 points.
CJ Bruton and Tony Ronaldson contributed 17 points each.
The win lifts the Breakers up to fifth on the table for the time being, two wins outside the top four.
In other results, the Perth Wildcats beat the Melbourne Tigers 94-78 while the Cairns Taipans defeated the Townsville Crocs 87-81.
