The New Zealand Breakers suffered another heavy loss in their pre-season tour to Australia, going down 70-125 to the Melbourne Tigers at Knox, near Melbourne today.
The Tigers led 64-45 at halftime and were never headed, outscoring the Breakers 61-25 in a dominant second half.
New signing Chris Anstey had a game-high 31 points and 13 rebounds in 33 minutes for the Tigers against the New Zealand franchise who are missing a large chunk of their squad either on Tall Blacks duty or injured.
On Friday the Breakers went down 61-113 to the same opponents.
