The New Zealand Breakers beat the Townsville Crocodiles by 85-73 at the Townsville Entertainment Centre last night.
With one quarter remaining they led the Crocs 63-57.
The teams were tied at 37-37 at halftime, before the Breakers surged ahead in the third.
The Crocs led the Breakers 25-14 at quarter time.
New Zealand had pulled the lead back to 31-26 with just under five minutes remaining in the second quarter.
Before the game, the Breakers have not won in Australia this season.
