The future of Tall Black Dillon Boucher at the New Zealand Breakers continues to look more and more doubtful.
Boucher has revealed he is looking elsewhere for a contract, after being told by new Breakers coach Andrej Lemanis that he does not necessarily fit the mould.
Boucher is taking the news in his stride, and says it is simply the nature of professional sport.
He says in the meantime his agent is putting his feelers out because the Breakers are taking their time filling their roster.
Boucher says he has had meetings with Lemanis, but his future remains up in the air.
He says at the first meeting he felt like a used car salesman trying to sell himself.
Boucher may still be wanted by the Breakers, but probably only as a bench player.
He accepts that Lemanis is just doing his job.
Boucher says the coach has to put a team together which he thinks is right, and if he does not fit the mould, then that is just business, and he will have to look elsewhere.
He says he is prepared to go anywhere, especially if there is sunshine.
He says at the end of the day it is what ever team wants him and what ever deal is best for him and his family.
Meanwhile, Pero Cameron's future with the Breakers is similar to Boucher's and it is understood he is also looking elsewhere.
