One of New Zealand's greatest ever athletes, Valerie Adams, has become the official Lead Ambassador for the Breakers.
The Lead Ambassador is an exclusive and prestigious offer to a member of the community who the Breakers recognise as being extremely valuable, and would be a positive advocate for the club.
The two-time Olympic champion, a long time Breakers fan, has been recognised by the Breakers for her support of the club and her ongoing commitment to the New Zealand Sporting community.
Adams has just returned to New Zealand from her honeymoon and was presented with her ambassadorial Singlet by Breakers general manager Dillon Boucher on Wednesday at Atlas Place.
Boucher said - "I have known the Adams family for a long time having played against five of Val's brothers. Val has had a long association with the club and we are excited that she has agreed to accept the role as a SKYCITY Breakers Lead Ambassador"
