Kaitaia middleweight Kahukura Bentson faces a long wait before he steps into the ring for his second bout at the Games boxing venue tonight.
Bentson, who impressively stopped Junior Greenidge (Barbados) just 1m 34s into the first of the scheduled four rounds on Saturday night, meets the 2005 Commonwealth champion, James Degale (England), in the second-to-last bout on a busy programme.
His bout, scheduled for 11.24pm (NZ time), is the only one involving a New Zealander today.
