The Utah Jazz's long-serving head coach Jerry Sloan resigned overnight.
Sloan, 68, who coached the NBA team since December 1988, was replaced by Tyrone Corbin.
The surprise development came after Sloan had a long discussion with general manager Kevin O'Connor following the Jazz's 91-86 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
