KEY POINTS:
The Auckland Stars are in the market for two new basketball imports after their Americans left as the team were preparing for last night's game against Manawatu in Palmerston North.
The sudden departure of guard Tashaan Forehan-Kelly and forward Daniel Lambert surprised the coaching staff and management. They had been trying to settle "demands outside their contracts" from the players but said the pair returned to the United States on Wednesday.
Stars coach Kenny Stone was not too worried, partly because they have the bye next weekend and their next game is on May 12 away to Taranaki.
