The Waikato Titans have signed point guard Luke Martin for the upcoming National Basketball League season.
Martin, who won the Australian National Basketball League championship with the Sydney Kings in April, was signed on a two-year contract.
Martin has a New Zealand father, which allows him to play as a non-import and allows the Titans to keep spots open for Geordie Cullen and Mike Chappell.
Martin averaged 11.1 points and 3.6 assists per game in 12 games, including six starts, for the Jets last season. He shot 49 per cent from the field, 36 per cent from three-point range and 71 per cent on free throws.
