New Zealand has beaten Australia 72-53.
The Tall Blacks led throughout the match, including a halftime advantage of 37-28.
Phill Jones top scored for New Zealand with 28 points, while Sam Mackinnon grabbed 13 points for the Boomers, but the majority of those came in the first half.
Craig Bradshaw scored eight points but provided a strong performance on defence, marking NBA star Andrew Bogut, while Ben Hill scored seven points on debut.
On the flip side it was a quiet night for Australian centre Chris Anstey.
