American guard Tashaan Forehan-Kelly guided the Auckland Stars to their sixth straight win of the National Basketball League season beating Waikato Pistons 92-79 at home last night.
The Stars were never seriously threatened by the Pistons, and only a fourth-quarter surge from the visitors gave the score any respectability. Forehan-Kelly led the Stars with 28 points, Lindsay Tait continued his hot form with 26, and Dillon Boucher provided the best statistics of the night - 11 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, seven steals and two blocks.
