The Auckland Stars have upset the Manawatu Jets 88-85 in a National Basketball League clash in Palmerston North.

The Stars led 45-34 at halftime.

The result leaves three teams, the Hawks, Giants and Titans, locked at the head of the NBL points table with five wins.
