The National Basketball League is facing up to the reality its champion club may not take to the court next season.
The Wellington Saints have indicated they'll pull out of the 2011 season if they can't replace their naming rights sponsor by the end of the month.
NBL chairman Sam Rossiter-Stead says they're not in a position to offer the Saints a rescue package.
Rossiter-Stead says their responsibility is to all teams and that all they can do is help the club find a new sponsor.
