KEY POINTS:
SYDNEY - Teenage South Dragons rookie Shannon Seebohm is in a medically-induced coma in a Melbourne hospital after collapsing during an Australian National Basketball League (NBL) training session yesterday.
The 19-year-old development player was having a shootaround with teammate Brad Hill at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) yesterday afternoon when the incident occurred.
It's understood Seebohm's heart stopped, he stopped breathing and went into a seizure, immediately receiving CPR from MSAC staff, who revived him.
Paramedics then treated him and took him to a local hospital where it's believed he was placed in a medically-induced coma.
He was undergoing further tests today for the suspected heart problem but there was no immediate update on his condition.
