The Canterbury Rams hope to capitalise on a fresh up performance against the Auckland Stars in their clash at Christchurch on Saturday night and retain their NBL playoff hopes.
The star-studded Auckland side have to endure a double header, with a game against the Otago Nuggets tomorrow night.
The Rams are currently ranked third equal in the NBL, and the Stars first equal.
Rams coach Peter McAllister said he was happy with the team's comprehensive victory over Hawke's Bay last Sunday, and that it was one of their most compete performances.
He said going on past clashes between the two teams, it was bound to be a good spectacle.
The Stars had an unexpected loss to the Taranaki Mountain Airs on Friday and will also be anxious for a win.
The game's start time has been revised to 4.30pm so as not to coincide with the Super 12 rugby final.
