The outstanding season of New Zealand Breakers guard Kirk Penney has been rewarded with a place in the All-Australian National Basketball League's first team announced yesterday.
Penney was fourth overall in voting for the team, finishing with 71 votes behind Brisbane forward Ebi Ere (96), Melbourne centre Chris Anstey (95) and Sydney forward Mark Worthington (81).
The other member of the "team" is Perth's Shawn Redhage with 68 votes cast by the head coach, assistant coach and captain of each club.
