Sean Marks will continue to be New Zealand's one player in the United States NBA for a little while longer at least after the San Antonio Spurs resigned him.
Basketball New Zealand's website has reported that Marks has been signed to remain on the defending champions roster after being originally picked up by them as a free agent at the end of September.
His inclusion comes at the expense of Australian point guard Shane Heal, who the Spurs brought in when regular starter Tony Parker and back-up Anthony Carter were both injured.
Marks is still unlikely to get much game time, though, and is expected to be put on the injured list by the Spurs.
Since making his NBA debut in the 1998-99 season, Marks has played for the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat.
