KEY POINTS:
Kiwi basketball player Sean Marks is hoping he will get plenty of court time when the NBA regular season gets underway in a few weeks.
Marks is in his second year with the Phoenix Suns, who are already being tipped as finals contenders this season.
The Suns will once again field a solid roster so Marks knows he will need to impress at every turn to get game time.
He said coach Mike D'Antonio only plays eight or nine guys so it was his goal to break into that group for the season.
Marks said he was loving the Suns' system and had enjoyed plenty of pre-season action while star Amare Stoudemire has been recovering from injury.
