A dogged Manawatu Jets collected a crucial win last night to keep their playoffs hopes alive. They downed the Harbour Heat 94-83 in Palmerston North.
The Jets bounced back from their disastrous loss to the Taranaki Mountain Airs in New Plymouth on Wednesday night to head the points table with nine wins and six losses for 18 points.
The Waikato Titans, Auckland Stars, Nelson Giants and Hawkes Bay Hawks are just two points behind and with games in hand, but the Jets have their final three games at home.
