Never take lollies from a stranger.
That may be the lesson for Waikato Pistons basketballer Sylvester Seay, who's been cleared of any fault over a positive cannabis test.
The Sports Tribunal has accepted Seay's claim that he ate sweets laced with cannabis at a friends house in the States, prior to arriving here to play for the Pistons in April.
The Tribunal was unable to rule out the sweet as the source of the cannabis, found the witnesses credible and believe it would be unreasonable to consider him at fault.
