KEY POINTS:
New Zealand's Donna Loffhagen tasted championship success as Canberra produced a storming finish to win their fifth Australian women's National Basketball League (WNBL) title at Sydney over the weekend.
Canberra beat Sydney Uni 73-59 to defend their title, after trailing early in the final quarter.
Former Silver Ferns netball shooter Loffhagen contributed 10 points towards the win while Natalie Hurst top scored off the bench with 15.
It remains to be seen if it was Loffhagen's final game for the club.
She has indicated possible interest in playing for the Christchurch franchise who debut in next season's WNBL.
Before then, she will play for Southern Sting in the national netball league starting in April.
