Larry Brown has agreed to coach the NBA's New York Knicks in a deal that will make him the highest-paid coach in American professional sports history.
The New York Daily News said yesterday that Brown was in line for a five- or six-year deal worth between US$50 million ($74.18 million) and US$60 million.
His task will be to turn around a team who had 33 wins and 49 losses last season and haven't won a playoff series since 2000.
