New Zealand Olympic basketballer Pero Cameron was voted most valuable player as his English club Chester Jets upset the formbook to win the first title in their history.
Cameron scored 20 points and snaffled nine rebounds as the Jets scored an upset 92-81 victory over the Newcastle Eagles in the League Trophy final at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena.
The Jets had lost three out of four championship games against the Eagles this season, including a 95-114 home defeat seven days before the final.
