Basketball: Jets go down against Rams

A shock loss for high flying Manawatu Jets against the Rams in the National Basketball League.

The Jets have gone down 88-80 to bottom of the table Canterbury in Christchurch.

It is only the second win for the Rams this season.

Elsewhere, the Hawke's Bay Hawks have fallen further from their perch with a third straight loss, beaten 96-91 by the Saints in Wellington.

And Auckland has joined Waikato and Nelson at the top of the table, with a 98-91 win at home against the Taranaki Mountain Airs.
