Basketball: Hungarians tie series 1-1

The touring Hungarian men's basketball team tied the series 1-1 with the Tall Blacks in at Arena Manawatu in Palmerston North today with a 110-99 win.

New Zealand won last night's match 84-81 at the North Shore Event Centre. The third match of the five-match series will be played in New Plymouth on Monday.

Phill Jones topscored for New Zealand with 34 today and Kornel David scored 31 for the Hungarians.
