The Golden State Warriors' record 24-game winning streak to start the NBA season has come to an end.
The defending champions were tripped up by the Milwaukee Bucks at the end of an exhausting road trip, being defeated 108-95 in Milwaukee this afternoon.
The Warriors were on a back-to-back after
a double overtime game in Boston the day before, and were on the seventh game of their road trip.
No team had ever gone unbeaten on a seven-game road trip before, and not even the Warriors could set that mark as they ran out of gas.
Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded his first ever triple-double for Milwaukee with 11 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, while Greg Monroe had 28 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
