KEY POINTS:
The Stars are blaming the Saints and the Saints are blaming the Stars for the basketball stoush in Wellington that has seen a player from each side suspended for a game.
Wellington import Bakari Hendrix came to blows with Auckland's Casey Frank near the changing rooms after last night's NBL game in the capital.
The two players had earlier been ejected from the game after an on-court altercation.
The ugly incident has seen Basketball New Zealand launch an immediate investigation.
Wellington CEO Nick Mills says the aggro was sparked by Stars tactics. He says the only way the Stars could win was to play the spoiling game they do so well, and it worked for them on this occasion.
However, Stars coach Kenny Stone insists Casey Frank was provoked.
Basketball New Zealand may impose further sanctions following the investigation.
