The Breakers are confident they can manoeuvre around the Australian basketball league's points cap to keep their championship-winning squad together.
The NBL has released its player points rankings for the 2011-12 season.
Each team is allowed to accrue a maximum of 70 total player points at any one time and the Breakers have three players who are rated the maximum 10-point ranking.
Breakers general manager Richard Clarke says they work around the points cap, by committing up-and-coming players to long-term contracts.
Clarke says the player points rankings for Tom Abercrombie, Alex Pledger and Corey Webster have all gone up but they remain at the level they signed them at.
For example, finals MVP Tom Abercrombie is rated an eight, but was a one when they signed him.
