The New Zealand Breakers have had their biggest win of the Australian National Basketball League season.

The Breakers have thumped the Victoria Giants 113-81 in Melbourne, after they had led 58-44 at halftime.

It is the biggest winning margin and most points scored in the franchise's short NBL history.

The Breakers are now just one win behind the eighth-placed Giants on the points table with the top eight teams qualifying for the playoffs.

The Breakers have now won five and lost 11 games, and head home for a rematch against the Melbourne Tigers on Wednesday night.
