Basketball: Bay Hawks beat Stars

The Bay Hawks have moved a step closer to securing the sixth and final playoff berth in the national basketball league.

The Hawks have beaten the Stars 84-80 in Auckland to move four points clear of the seventh placed Manawatu Jets.

Chuck Bailey led the way for the Hawks with 25 points.
