Kiwi centre Steven Adams has posted solid numbers in his first start for the Oklahoma City Thunder in a pre-season game against the Philadelphia 76ers in Manchester.
In place of the injured Kendrick Perkins, Adams had six points, four rebounds, two blocks, a steal and an assist in close to 17 minutes on court.
The Thunder secured a 103-99 win.
There's now increasing speculation in American media that Adams' two early showings may earn him a rotation role rather than playing D-League as first thought.
