Basketball: 36ers top Taipans

The Adelaide 36ers have broken a three game losing streak with a 91-77 home victory over the Cairns Taipans last night.

The win was a big help to the 36ers' chances of making the NBL play-offs.

Darren Ng starred for the home side with 20 points, with Cortez Groves next best on 17.

For the Taipans, Julien Mills led the way with 23 points and six rebounds.
