Four minor league baseball players spent a seven hour Uber ride to ensure they would make a game in time.
The Seattle Mariners minor league players took the 678km journey from Phoenix, Arizona to Albuquerque, New Mexico after they'd couldn't get a flight.
Mark Lowe, Daniel Vogelbach, Pat Light and DJ Peterson of the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers all jumped into the Uber to Albuquerque for a five-game series against the Albuquerque Isotopes.
"Tried to beat having to wake up at 3am to make a flight with a game the same night. Crossed my fingers when I booked American Air ticket to begin with. As always, they completely let me down again," Relief pitcher Lowe posted on Instagram, according to the Bleacher Report
"Soo...I only had to take an Uber from Phoenix to Albuquerque in the middle of the night. Thankfully I had Daniel Vogelbach, Pat Light and DJ Peterson and an awesome Uber driver willing to drive as seven hours."
