It's never fortunate to be trapped in a bathroom, but it's even less appealing when you are participating in the Major League Baseball playoffs.
Chicago Cubs closer Hector Rondon was stuck in the bullpen restroom for several minutes during Game 1 of the National League Divisional Series against the Saint Louis Cardinals.
The Cardinals director of stadium operations said the latch froze and city fire department officials had to be brought in to get the lock to function and free Rondon.
The team replaced the lock for Game 2.
Rondon's poorly timed toilet break didn't cost him however, eventually not being used out of the bullpen as the Cubs crashed to an opening 4-0 loss.
