Baseball pitching great Roger Clemens told CBS's 60 Minutes he was injected with the painkiller lidocaine and the vitamin B-12 during his playing career but not steroids as alleged by his former trainer.
The ex-trainer, Brian McNamee, told investigators for the probe led by former US Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell that he injected Clemens with steroids and human growth hormone.
Clemens called the accusation "ridiculous" and said he "never" used any banned substances.
