ST LOUIS - Weather has tossed the baseball World Series into a state of confusion, leaving the St Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers wondering when they will play next.
Rain washed out yesterday's game four and brought more question marks for the managers of the American and National League pennant winners.
With the Cardinals leading the Tigers 2-1 in the best-of-seven Fall Classic, rain remains in the St Louis forecast for the next two days as well.
Game four is now slated for today and game five tomorrow at the Cardinals' Busch Stadium home.
Jeff Suppan, MVP of the National League Championship Series triumph over the New York Mets, was to start game four for the Cardinals against Detroit's Jeremy Bonderman.
The World Series is supposed to shift back to Detroit on Sunday if a sixth game is needed but that arrangement could also be in jeopardy if there are more rains.
