Baseball: Bonds may face perjury charges

San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds could face perjury charges stemming from his testimony before a grand jury investigating the now notorious Balco lab, CNN reported yesterday.

The network quoted unnamed sources as saying a different grand jury had been hearing evidence on whether Bonds may have lied when he denied using steroids in his own grand jury appearance in 2003.
