Badminton: Bellingham scores win at Worlds

Rebecca Bellingham scored a win in the first round of the women's singles at the Badminton World Champs in Los Angeles.

The Auckland 27-year-old beat Iceland's Ragna Ingolfsdottir in straight games to set up a second-round clash against India's Aparna Popat.

Her husband, Geoff Bellingham, was easily defeated by 10th seed Choong Hann Wong of Malaysia in straight games in a first-round men's singles.
