Watch as Australian stuntman Robbie "Maddo" Maddison rides his motorcross bike across huge waves in Tahiti.
The 34-year-old said he "feared for his life" as he attempted the stunt he's been preparing for two years, which he also described as "a near-death experience."
His other famous stunts have included jumping over a football field on his bike, backflipping over London's iconic Tower Bridge as it was opening and he also holds the world record for the longest motorcycle jump.
"Maddo" modified his dirt bike so it was fitted with skis and an airbag as he took on the Teahupoo wave.
"I don't think the photos or video show how physical it was," he told Surfer magazine.
