Former French national coach Didier Poppe has been appointed to work with the Olympic and world shot put champion. It follows her shock split from Kirsten Hellier late last month.

Poppe is a javelin champion, who has guided several athletes at Olympic Games and world championships. He is based on the North Shore and has been living in New Zealand for three years.
