Shot put ace Tom Walsh looked anything but a world class athlete as he toppled off a mechanical bull during Christmas festivities.
The bulky Olympic bronze medallist and world indoor champion hung on for a few slowish rotations before toppling off the machine at the Christchurch party for Mike Greer homes, where Walsh works as a builder.
"Had a bit of fun on the bull," tweeted Walsh, even though it didn't look like a lot of fun.
It's not the first time Walsh has been through the air this year, not by a long shot. Earlier this week, he tweeted "59 flights down for the year 1 to go".
