LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) Jamaican sprinter Dominique Blake has appealed to sport's highest court to challenge a six-year ban for her second doping offense.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport says it has registered Blake's request "to have her suspension reduced."
CAS says no date has been set for the hearing, though a verdict should be issued within four months.
Blake tested positive for methylhexaneamine, a banned stimulant, in June 2012 at the Jamaican Olympic trials. She had finished sixth in the 400 meters.
The 26-year-old Blake's ban by the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission runs through July 2018.
