KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) A Jamaican disciplinary panel has started a closed-door hearing into a positive drug test delivered by sprint star Veronica Campbell-Brown.
Warren Blake, the president of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association, says the hearing began Monday but declined to disclose where it was being held.
Blake says he has "no idea how long it will take." He says a statement will be issued when the hearing is concluded.
The panel is made up of a former judge, a former senior military official and the head of the island's medical association.
Campbell-Brown is a three-time Olympic gold medalist. She was suspended in June after testing positive for a banned diuretic at a Jamaican meet.
