A sea of runners in the Auckland Marathon and half marathon make their way across the Auckland Harbour Bridge yesterday morning.
Strong winds buffeted competitors throughout the events. Just under 10,500 entered, with runners from Mexico, Croatia and Estonia.
New Plymouth's Dale Warrander was first home and St Heliers' Tracey Clissold claimed the women's title.
