LAS VEGAS (AP) Jason Brosseau of pulled away from Andrew Duncan over the final mile to win the Las Vegas Marathon on Sunday.
The 28-year-old Brosseau finished in 2 hours 35 minutes and 26 seconds. The 46-year-old Duncan finished 10 seconds back.
In the women's marathon, Romanian Olympian Nuta won for the second year in a row, finishing in 2:58:46.
The 43-year-old Olaru, who now lives in the United States, finished 6 minutes, 2 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Jennifer Benitiz of Carol Stream, Ill. Kellie Nickerson finished third in 3:11:02.
