New Zealand's Jonathan Wyatt battled back from a savage attack by two large dogs while training to finish second in the world mountain running championships in Bursa, Italy, yesterday.
Wyatt, the five-times world champion, was pipped at the line in a sprint finish by Colombian Rolando Ortiz. Wyatt was beaten by just six-hundredths of a second.
